Matthew Le God Posted September 3, 2008 Share Posted September 3, 2008 To those camped on the boards and youtube, just to be very clear, the video will not be available until some time after 6pm UK time (that's British Summer Time) this evening. We don't have a set time, as YouTube can't do "timed" announcements, so the vid upload will start at 6pm, which is the time that the press conference is due to start. You can! 1) Upload the video now to Youtube but under upload settings make it a private video. Thus all the uploading and processing is done hours before 6pm. No one will be able to watch it as it is a private video. 2) At 6pm change the settings from private to public and the video will instantly be available to the world with no delay in processing time and everyone can start watching it at 6pm exactly! Also as its youtube with massive servers it will easily be able to cope with everyone watching it at once at the same time the press conference starts.
