Training Help...

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I recently had Torres score 29 League goals and 47 seasonal goals .. picking up nearly every award and becoming top scorer in every competition including Euro 2008.

I wanted him to become even more better and I raised his training to "Heavy" and I was surprised to find out he scored 31 league goals and 56 seasonal goals the next season & becoming the top goal scorer in every competition again.

does the training really help a player become better or was this just a coincidence?

Well, look at his attributes to see if they improved. The second goal ratio isn't really an improvement anyway, he played an extra 9 game but scored only 2 more.

Just a warning, Heavy training will probably not do him so much good as he will tire out more easily and he could learn to hate the high workload which could affect his performances on the pitch.

If Neji had read correctly : she'd have seen that both of the figures are goals.

The players steadily improve anyway and your training change will have helped.

However there could be other factors which have contributed to this like:

a) better quality of players in your team

b) worse quality of opposition

c) more games

d) better help from your tactic

I'd agree with Neji on the subject of the dangers though.
