What to do when...

the opponent has fouled your players for around 20-30 times? How to fight against team that stops your team only with fouls? Would quick tempo be a solution (so opposition players wouldn't have time to make a foul)?

Well, having good free kick takers helps, or stronger players. Not sure whether tempo would affect this or not?

i reckon it might ya know.. giving players less time on the ball, so theres less time for opponents to foul them... could work... alternatively, just put yer tackling up onto hard, but a couple of players with 20 aggression and beat them at their own game!

Have to try it and see, I guess. I figured the OP has a relatively technical team to be complaining about this, so I doubt the beating them at their own game would be the best way for him (but I'm quite big on fair play, even on the game).

My big strength against teams that foul like this is extremely tall defenders that go up for free kicks. I think i tend to score around 15 goals indirectly from free kicks each season.

IMO quick tempo will only enhance your players getting fouled. As your team plays a fast paced attacking game, the oppo wont be able to get close and will start using dirty tactics. A slower tempo would be better, so the game is mellowed.

Or swap positions, if that's an option.

I'd say a slower tempo as well. Unless ... the ref gives out a yellow card for all those fouls. I would be playing the same style then, in the hope some of the other players get sent off.

the point is that they are smart, i see one yellow card after another.. ''eerm, shouldn't half of their team be sent off already?'' then i check their stats and see that almost each player has a yellow card, but no one has two then i tried hard tackling because their bravery is low, but ref didn't show the second booking(s) where he really should
