Sussex Hammer Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Not long started a new game tinkering with tactics and just finished 10th with West Ham in second season, first back in Prem. Not great so imagine my total bemusement when I notice I am Manager of the Year with 1000+ points. No Cups or Manager of the Month Awards, just 10th with a quite pathetic record of two away wins. Granted my record against the top sides was pretty good, it was against the other teams I struggled until a late surge from January got me safe but I have had another save when I have finished 5th and won the League Cup and reached the FA Cup Final so qualifying for Europe and yet nowhere near any Manager of the Year Award??!!! Plus my board were delighted with the fantastic performance in the Premier Division and they weren't so enthusiastic when I finished 5th on the other save.
