dking
I've just taken over a new team and signed ten new players. The tactic I'm trying to implement is around a quarter of the way to being fully learned. The plan is to have the 'Addidtional Focus Area' on teamwork until we are fully comfortable with the tactic, but, I know that the tactic works better with defensive positioning, in the long run, so I'm not entirely sure if I should just go with defensive positioning straight away or not? Anybody have any advice?
Bobble2002
Set it to what you want but watch the games in 3d to see how your team is playing and what they really need to focus on . The defence might be constantly out of position or giving away loads of goals from set pieces . Or they do not play as a team . Then set the focus to that for a couple of weeks
dking
So you don't think teamwork is important for a new team in pre season?
Bobble2002
Yes they need to gel as a team .But they also might need to focus more on one of the other aspects if that is losing them games regularly
SCIAG
A lot of myths exist about how this feature works. It only affects the next match, so it doesn't matter what you had it set to a month ago.
