Only two matches were left: Spanish Cup final vs. Espanyol and 4 days after that, UCL final vs. Arsenal. One Lionel Messi was injured for a short period and couldn't make it to the Spanish Cup final so of course his morale went down. Sure, he hadn't played a single match in the Spanish Cup and sure, he could play in the UCL final and thus had the grandest of games ahead of him. But no, down goes morale. Leo, be positive. Your injury doesn't stop you from lifting another Champions League trophy. Why do you care about the Spanish Cup? Who told you I would even play you against Espanyol? Coentrao Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Somewhat related but i wish the players didn't value the Carling Cup as much as they do, when you are a top club it shouldn't depress you to miss a Carling Cup semi final or final because of injury or suspension.
