withnail316
....is it still possible to play in 'Offline Mode'? Just had a wander to my local shop to pick it up but it's out of stock. I've seen it's available for £19.99 online, but I was under the impression without a disc it wasn't possible to play offline. Do I need to wait until it becomes available in store again? Cheers. Sikker
It doesn't matter if you have the disc or not. It's totally the same. I bought the disc version but still I had to dl FM through Steam...
nine_iron
The only benefit offered by the disc is for those who have a monthly download limit on their internet. They can install the game, activate online then play offline to their hearts content.
withnail316
Cheers for the responses lads, but still not quite answered my question. If I download the game, can I still play in offline mode, or do I need to be signed in to Steam at all times? I don't have any download limits, but I'm away from home without the internet quite a lot. If I can't play the electronic version of the game at those times, there's no point me buying it. dan99
Yeah you can, just make sure you set it to offline mode before you leave.
