CrD
I was just wondering something, as I have just started a new game, wanted to try something new... I have taken over Queens Park in the Scottish Third Division, and I was just wondering how do you take a club from Amateur to Professional level, and how long does it usually take? phnompenhandy
Queens Park will always be amateur and is hard-coded so in FM. Most other amateur clubs will turn semi-pro and eventually pro when you gain the appropriate promotions. In Scotland there are semi-pro clubs in SFL1; in England they are all fully professional in League 2.

Why will Queens Park always be amateur though?
magicmastermind124
It's their own principle, they will always be amateur, "to play for the sake of playing". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen's_Park_F.C.
