Launch problem

So my HDD corrupted the other day, so I had to reinstall windows 7. I install steam and install FM12, I go to click play and nothing happends, on Task Manager it shows FM.exe in the processes however nothing shows up in the bottom task bar and it definetly isn't opening. I've tried reinstalling but to no luck.

FM12 installed fine when I got it on release day, just now that I had to reinstall windows it doesn't seem to work

Hmm, surely the game would still launch though? I can log into steam..., I click on the game icon, log into steam, then nothing happens.

Have a look through the FAQ's then Jordzz, then ask again if nothing there does the trick.

Just had a look, doesn't seem to be anything to help me

Kill FM.exe in Task Manager then try booting the game from the icon in steam apps C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2012, if that doesn't work I'll move this to the bugs forum as I'm pretty sure it's a known issue so one they can resolve.

If you reinstalled W7, your computer will have lost all the drivers, so you will need to update them all.

Yourv report is not showing either a graphcs card or a sound card so there is a hardware problem somewhere.

I had this problem also, it turned out after reinstalling my Windows i had to search for the Graphics card drivers. once i did this it worked fine.
