scouting knowledge question

So I searched all players around the world. I get 110k players as results, but what confuses me is that next to the number saying something like "amount depending on your scouting knowledge".

the database I have chosen is 270k+ players. Do i need to hire more scouts and send them around the world so I get more players as results?

The better your scouting knowledge the more results that will show. For example, if you have little to no knowledge of Holland then only a few (if any) players will show up in your search.

To increase your scouting knowledge you should either hire more scouts with existing knowledge or send your current scouts to new areas to develop knowledge or do both.

This should increase the amount of players your search returns over time.

try to have every region assigned by different scouts, go to team screen under scouting knowledge, scout the region where is least covered

You're scouting knowledge can also be increased by hiring coaches from countries that you are not so knowledgeable about.

For example, I increased my scouting knowledge of Oceania by hiring a coach that is from that region.
