David Milmine
In FMH 2012 you are able to edit club, competition, manager and player information using a text file which is placed on the Memory Stick. To do this you need to create a text file called "changes" and place it in the following location on the Memory Stick (create any folders not present): PSP\COMMON\FMH2012\changes.txt When you start a new game, the information found within "changes.txt" is loaded in and the edits found within the file are applied to the game's database. Club Changes The format for editing club data in the "changes.txt" file is as follows: "CLUB" "Current Club Short Name" "Nation" "New Club Full Name" "New Club Short Name" "New Reputation" "New Division" Example: To edit Arsenal’s club name to "The Gunners", with a short name of "Gunners", a reputation of "5000" and then to put them in the "nPower Championship" at the start of the game, the following information would be put into the "changes.txt" file: "CLUB" "Arsenal" "England" "The Gunners" "Gunners" "5000" "nPower Championship" You can use empty quotation marks ("") to ensure a particular field remains unchanged from its original database form. So, if you only wanted to change Arsenal’s name to "The Gunners", the following information would be put into the "changes.txt" file: "CLUB" "Arsenal" "England" "The Gunners" "" "" "" Competition Changes The format for editing competition data in the "changes.txt" file is as follows: "COMPETITION" "Old Competition Name" "New Competition Name" "New Competition Short Name" "New Competition Abbreviation" Example: To edit the English Premier Division’s name to "English Division 1", with a short name of "Div 1" and an abbreviation of "1st" at the start of the game, the following information would be put into the "changes.txt" file: "COMPETITION" "English Premier Division" "English Division 1" "Div 1" "1st" You can use empty quotation marks ("") to ensure a particular field remains unchanged from its original database form. So, if you only wanted to change the competition full name to "English Division 1" at the start of the game, the following information would be put into the "changes.txt" file: "COMPETITION" "English Premier Division" "English Division 1" "" "" Player Changes The format for editing player data in the "changes.txt" file is as follows: "PLAYER" "First Name" "Second Name" "Current Club Short Name" "New First Name" "New Second Name" "New Common Name" "New Year of Birth" "New CA" "New PA" "New Club Short Name" Example: To edit the data of Ledley King so that his name becomes "Gooner Ledley", his common name becomes "Ledders" was born in "1975", has a current ability of "180", a potential ability of "200" and starts as Arsenal at the beginning of the game, the following information would be put into the "changes.txt" file: "PLAYER" "Ledley" "King" "Tottenham" "Gooner" "Ledley" "Ledders" "1975" "180" "200" "Arsenal" You can use empty quotation marks ("") to ensure a particular field remains unchanged from its original database form. So, if you only wanted to move Ledley King from Tottenham to Arsenal at the start of the game, the following information would be put into the "changes.txt" file: "PLAYER" "Ledley" "King" "Tottenham" "" "" "" "" "" "" "Arsenal" Manager Changes The format for editing manager data in the "changes.txt" file is as follows: "MANAGER" "First Name" "Second Name" "Current Club Short Name" "New First Name" "New Second Name" "New Year of Birth" "New CA" "New PA" "New Club Short Name" Example: To edit the data of Arsene Wenger so that his name becomes "The Professor", was born in "1980", has a current ability of "180", a potential ability of "200" and starts as Bradford manager at the beginning of the game, the following information would be put into the "changes.txt" file: "MANAGER" "Arsene" "Wenger" "Arsenal" "The" "Professor" "1980" "180" "200" "Bradford" You can use empty quotation marks ("") to ensure a particular field remains unchanged from its original database form. So, if you only wanted to change Arsene Wenger's name to "Arsene Knows", the following information would be put into the "changes.txt" file: "MANAGER" "Arsene" "Wenger" "Arsenal" "" "Knows" "" "" "" "" Notes The game can be made to ignore entries in the "changes.txt" file by placing the hash symbol (#) at the beginning of the line. The user can create up to but no more than 100 brand new names which don’t already exist in the database. For example, if you changed "Ledley" to "Thierry", this would not count as a new player name as "Thierry" already exists in the game. If playing in a language which utilises accents, these accents must be reflected in the "changes.txt" file in order for them to be picked up by the game. For example, if using Spanish language and the user wishes to edit the German Primera División alemana [German First Division], the "changes.txt" file must contain "Primera División alemana" including its accent use. You must ensure the correct number of teams are playing in the competitions when swapping teams between divisions. The "changes.txt" file does not affect existing save games. Smith" when it comes to tactics and player ratings screen? I can only seem to get the full name up for both of them.

Are you able to paste the lines from the text file here so I can check?
