wazza
Does the English League 2 have a reserve league, Im with Plymouth and just noticed there are no fixtures or league table for it? There is only an under 18 league
Dave C
English reserve and youth football doesn't mimic the main leagues. Plymouth reserves play in the Football Combination Wales & West Division: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Football_Combination It's not represented accurately in FM though, but they should be in some reserve league. wazza
Strange there is no reserve league, In Fm2011 you got asked if you wanted to participate this didnt even occur so dont know if its a bug
wazza
Plymouth are set in the database to have no reserve fixtures.Cheers. Is that because of the financial situation there. In my game the club has been taken over by a tycoon and he hasnt increased my transfer/wage budgets as yet so its still a load of free transfers and loan players playing. However next season I would hope to be able to play in the reserve league, is it programmed in the database for this to happen

The first season starts as things are in real-life (obviously Plymouth withdrew from reserve leagues).
Punchdrunk
Thing you can do or your ass manager is arrange friendly matches instead. At least if you do them its a good way of getting your players match fit when you need them
Baggy2011
I'm Coventry and my reserves aren't in a reserve league, which is annoying when players are returning from injury and I want to ease them back in through reserve games
o JaY
I'm Coventry and my reserves aren't in a reserve league, which is annoying when players are returning from injury and I want to ease them back in through reserve games Arrange friendlies against local non-league teams during the tues/weds when you don't have a game. That's what I would do when necessary.
