Deadmaninc21
I remember in FM10 and before you could offer a player a new contract even if a bid was accepted so he could choose between staying and leaving. This was especially handy when the chairmen accepted a bid for a player you dont want to leave. Now in FM11 when a bid is accepted I can't offer the player a new contract, why is this removed from the game??
james_wilko
I imagine it's 'cause a chairman wouldn't enter negotiations with a player he was looking to sell. Usually when the bid is accepted it's cause the chairman feels it's an amount you can't turn down.
The Welsh Lad
I would think that its been removed for realistic reasons if a chairman decides to accept a bid then you have to accept that the player is leaving unless the player turns down the contract offered.
