ChAnCeR
I was playing a Man U against Asenal in the community shield. Had used all my subs and carrick got injured, I went to confirm and it said injured player still on field now I didn't make a change at first because I had used all three subs. However once getting that message I tried to make another sub and the game accepted it so four subs, are the rules for the community sheild the same as friendly matches with the sub rules?? Nottingham Forest
Are you sure that it didn't the player off? That can happen if needs be. Or did they change a few years back to allow 5 subs? Edit: A google article says you can make 6 subs out of 7 players in the community shield. http://www.thefa.com/~/media/978792AF8BBE4927AA4583437A7DF882.ashx/FA%20Community%20Shield%20Rules.pdf
Ratrug1001
In the community shield you are allowed to make up to 5 subs.
dafuge
If you look at the rules page on a competition, you can check things like how many subs can be made.
