DamianJMcGrath
eBay's probably going to be your best bet for really cheap, especially when people buy the game and then realise they don't need the CD.

underwater sunlight
got to say i dont get how digital copies of games are more expensive than retail. the idea of digital downloads was originally championed as being the cheaper option as the costs for producing and burning to disk, packaging, and distribution costs aren't really there and the new costs, such as increased servers for downloads and extra tech support would pale in insignificance. i get that stores have loss makers but this seems to general to me
leumd
I think the short answer is that retails stores are very much subject to the supply/demand cycle. They buy in stock, and then have to shift it. The less demand there is, the cheaper the price is. In the digital world, there isn't such a cycle. There is no physical stock to sell, so they can afford to maintain a higher price.
