New Laptop

I recently purchased a new laptop, as the title suggests. I obviously immediately loaded up FM2008, it worked well the first time, but now I'm totally unable to load it up again, what's going on.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried unistalling the game and starting afresh again??

May be a corrupt installation, happened to me once - that fixed things.

When I click on it, the laptop makes noises suggesting that it is processing, then it just stops and nothing happens.

Are you on Vista? If so you need to access it via your program files rather than the shortcut. You can put a new shortcut on your desktop from that icon.

You may also need to run it as administrator.

I had this happen to mine, completely uninstall it then do a disk clean up on ya laptop then reload the game. It worked a trewat for mine asnd I havent had any problems since

I did manage to get it working, it was in the games explorer part, because it is Vista.
