ryan_sacfc
Hi all, Installing FM10 on new computer, and all was going well until the very end of the installation. I was informed that there had been some 'errors' during installation with some parts of the game. However, the installation had completed, and so when I clicked 'done' the game began as normal, loading up and I started my game. However, once I had quit and saved, when I wanted to start the game up again, clicking on the shortcut, and the icon in the 'games' part of Windows, resulted in the 'documents' of the game being brought up, not the actual game. Has anyone else had these 'errors' and this issue with the documents coming up with the game? If so, could anyone suggest ways to go about sorting this problem? Thanks. jod123
Can you launch the game using the executable file itself rather than a shortcut? If you use Steam it is in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\football manager 2010 Otherwise it is in C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010
trekman
You should also make sure that your java and direct x are up to date.
Magicz
That happened to me and I would take the guys above advice. But if that fails you should uninstall the game then reinstall it. Works like a dream for me now

jod123
No problem Have you created a shortcut to it? You can and it should it work Right click on the fm.exe file that I specified above. Then choose copy. Now go to your desktop and choose paste shortcut. Make sure you choose paste shortcut and not just paste. That shortcut should now work.
