oranjeman
Dont know if this has been fully acknowledged yet or not but ive seen in my current save many times retiring managers sign length contracts only to retire a month later? for example Wenger is 62 in my game and signed a 4 year deal before retiring a month later? few other less notable examples but its happening

edgar555
In my current save none of the managers go anywhere even when they achieve way below what the club would expect. 6 seasons in, 1 title and 1 Coppa and Mourinho still has the Inter job, both those wins were in the first 2 seasons. Barca are serial underachievers as are Chelski yet all stick by their managers, not right.
SWaRFeGa
Not really the same thing, but: I was at AC Milan for 8 years, and lost to Barca in the Champions cup semi-final. The Barca manager then retired with just a few weeks of the season left. I was offered the job, and took it. Managed to win the league and Champions Cup. Bish-bosh.
