matthew_234
I am with Barnet and I am in serious debt and every month I seem to have a loss I think it is mainly due to my small crowds even though I have finished ninth 1st Season - 19th 2nd Season - 9th All the players I have signed have been free transfers Now my board is telling me to decrease my wage budjet I have spent all this effort with Barnet in order to get my self regonised as a manager rising through the ranks to one day manage Arsenal for example but it could all stop http://img257.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100602at004.png/ http://img168.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100602at004.png/ http://img168.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100602at004.png/ http://img168.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100602at004.png/ All of the financial information Anything else I can do Thanks

Cougar2010
In the past its been far too easy to make money in FM but this year is different and you'll struggle to turn a profit in the lower leagues which is what happens in RL. Your finances don't look too bad but there is more you can do. To make a profit you either have to increase income or decrease expenses. Income is difficult to increase and the only ways you can influence it is by winning games to get more supporters/promotion or by selling players. Your expenses however can be improved. You are over your wage budget and need to cut it asap or face further reductions in the future. I wouldn't just settle for the £16.3k the board set either as you would still be making a loss, look to get it closer to £10k-£12k a week. The main way you could do this is by cutting players, 44 is far too many for a club of that size. You don't need reserves, get rid of the rubbish youngsters as soon as you can (Don't offer them professional deals). Look at what bonuses you are offering with contracts as they are adding 20% onto your already high wage bill. Finally you can probably cut your staff as well if you really had to. robertcornell68
IMO, wage budget is the thing you really have to control in the lower leagues. There are a lot of good, cheap players to replace your over-rated and over-paid prima donnas.
