Possible advantage for part-time?

I have a 25 year old centre mid with 2 and a half stars CA and PA, so he's playing at close to his potential. He is currently on a full time contract but it would be cheaper for me to give him a part time contract, would it be advantageous for me to do so since he's reached his potential?

Less training might allow his attributes to drop though, perhaps. Maybe.

I'd doubt he'd sign the contract.

I am playing in BSN so for full-time contracts i have to change it manually. What that means is that most players demand part-time contracts, he is currently on a full time contract and is now demanding a part-time extension, so yes he would sign cause that's what he wants. My question wasn't whether he'd sign, just that if it would be advantageous.

Changing him to part-time means his training levels will drop significantly, and his attributes will probably drop as a result.
