saware
When starting up a new game and the option to choose a database arises (currently a choice of 10.0 and 10.2 for me) there's a tick-box to change the Editor Data Files, should this be ticked? I can't remember ever using the editor but apparently there is 1 enabled file (config.xml with 2 database changes), is this due to the patches? mrmeee17
If you can't remember ever using the editor don't tick it I believe it doesn't have anything to do with the patches.
Vic Taylor
You only have to tick the 'change' box if you've made a database add-on with the Editor, and want to either activate or deactivate it. It has nothing to do with patches.
saware
Guess I must've edited something then at somepoint... must've been ages ago! I guess the only way to check is to load up to games and compare?

saware
It just says config.xml so that gives me no clue, but thanks for the suggestion. It's obviously nothing major but it's bugging me now!
Vic Taylor
Oh, that's the automatic file. You didn't create that. I think it's kinda the original database.

Just leave it imo. "config.xml" is one of the default files already there after installation.
gregt or smokey
dont touch it. if youv not used the editor then that tickbox is irrelevant to you
saware
Yeah, that's what I thought, I wouldn't call it that! It says there's been 2 changes though, is that something I've done? Can you change the original database?
mrmeee17
No I don't believe you can.
saware
Fair enough, I'll just take everyone's advice and leave it as is then... thanks!
