the 12 seasons challenge

idea popped into my head last night. the basic idea of this challenge is to take a blue square premier team to glory in 12 season. if you do it before 12 seasons you must continue untill the 12 seasons are over. then you must resign and take controll of another bsp club and do it all again. for the last 6 seasons you are free to manage whoever you please. upload you save at end of every 12 seasons once you have resigned. hope everyone likes this idea.

I am currently on my Mansfield game so Im tempted to use it for this! Won the BSP first season and top of L2 atm, will upload it after 12 seasons but might be another fortnight yet!

3 seasons in one league? A bit easy to be honest espiecally first time around with a team like Luton.

As it would be a long challenge perhaps it might be worthwile to detail a little bit more, and if you keep a record of who is doing the challenge maybe it could become a more competitive challenge.

For example you recieve a certain amount of points when you win a competition or gain promotion, with more points being allocated the sooner you ahieve it.

Just a suggestion though!

Fair enough mate, could be a good challenge. Im not a regular on here so im not too sure who runs the challenges and what not, guessing Ridley? Either way been a while since ive seen or had a handheld challenge!

No one runs challenges and if he did it would be on The Final Whistle as he is staff there and I would force him . But anyone can do them.

im not a veteran of champ Manager/Football manager but I played since CM3, prob 12 years or so. I could never quite get into CM 2 for some reason.

I have had every version on the psp... but fmh10 is by far the best.

to make this challenge harder you must do it with one of the teams expected to finnish in the bottom half of the league and may only use unlockables if unlocked during the challenge.

Harder = no unlockables

came up with a scoring method would like some helpers though to help me keep tabs. upload method later. if interested in helping pleas pm me. Also thinking about having a closing date for entries to this challenge so we all start at the same time. date will be 26/2/2010

I would be half interested in this since I love LLM... but id much prefer it in Italy.

There is only one BSP team whose colors I like, Luton! :-) I much prefer italy.

Let me know what clubs you can pick.. and when we start... I might give it a bash.

I would but doing well on my Mansfield save,and we were expected play-offs first season so my game wont count!

know how it feels i have just got to the premier league with luton town consectutive promotions and loosing the fa cup final to liverpool on penalties after comming back from 2 goals down while in league 1. also lost on penalties to fionreintina in uefa cup 1/4 after having 2 goals dissalowed due to offside. gutted. i will do this challenge with afc wimbledon.
