anamericanego
I'm afc Bournemouth and have a parent link with southampton. Were both now in the CCC. Is it time to cut ties?
JRoberts2
they normally cut it for you when you get in same league
Ty
Yeah they normally cancel it for you if your in the same league. I even had one where I was King's Lynn and Peterborough as my feeder on FM09, and I got promoted to League 1 and Peterborough was in Premiership, and they stopped being my parent team due to 'us being in the same league' hmmm.. anamericanego
I thought they would, but they gave me the option I guess. When I look at affiliated clubs I have an option to cancel link... I'm not getting any money out of it so I don't see the point.
Edle
Parent clubs are useless for me.I always get the bottom of the bucket. Useless.
Wee Lad
Cut your parent clubs when you find a better one (this will usually cut automatically too, depending on the league they're in). I usually try to get 2-3 different ones for financial backing and the random loan player. As Bristol Rovers, I got Goulding from Reading three seasons in a row and he became a legend at the club based on his loan performances.
Ian1976
Hm - I'm reading through this thread feeling as though I got a steal. I had the option (with luton in the BSP) to chose between Arsenal and Chelsea (and chose Chelsea) - I've gotten a really valuable loan out of it which will likely end up turning into a full-fledged contract at some point.
