Question about Regens

Do new regens appear in the game even if you have not loaded a country's league? I mean if you decided to play only the English leagues do you still get regens from France, Spain, Turkey, or Brazil?

You get all nationalities. The number of players of various nationalities remains constant.

Yes. I'm in 2027 right now, and if only English regens existed, it would be a pretty boring career!

My team contains regens from :-

Argentina

Belarus

Russia

Czech Rep

Italy

Greece

South Korea

France

Spain

I even tried to buy a world-class Ethiopian! But I can't quite afford him...

You will get other nationalities but the majority will be English.

My current save using Genie Scout, May 2014:-

Total Players: 12673

Total Regens: 7171

English regens: 4559

You'll find alot of international teams U21 and younger start to get populated by grey players.
