Bono Vox Posted December 19, 2009 Share Posted December 19, 2009 Hi guys Sorry to start out with a question, but I've been trying figure this out for a while now - been searching both forums and FA rules. I'm managing Nottingham Forest, and obviously been spotting players I want to sign when they have six months left of their contracts. The thing is, though, that I cannot offer contracts to any player signed at an English club - the 'Approach to sign button' is simply not there, and this doesn't change with the start of the transfer window on January 1st. There's no problem in approaching and signing players from other countries - it's just players from English clubs that I can't sign. Is there a UK transfer rule that I've missed out on? wardog Posted December 19, 2009 Share Posted December 19, 2009 in a domestic situatiion you have to wait till the last 4 weeks of their contract IIRC i had the same problem but if tyou set the filter to say Expring(6 months) and not based in England then you can sign all those players Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
