if you rebooted your computer, why did you have to re-install the game ??

look in the FAQ thread at the top of the page, theres some useful links for graphics drivers n stuff in there

control panel > system

that will give you most of the info...

if you then click "device manager" that should open a new window, then click on the line that says "display adaptors" and that should tell you what your graphics card is...

theres probably an easier way than that to do it though...

edit: yeah, dxdiag, thats it!!

ERROR: Cannot run game: Failed to set up graphics system

Please download the following update from the Microsoft Direct X SDK:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

When downloading this file please use the Firefox browser as some people have encounter difficulties when using Internet Explorer.

You should also check that you are running the latest graphics driver, you can do this by visiting the computer manufacturer website, or by visiting the graphics card manufacturing website.

Also if you are running Steam, make sure this is not running when attempting to install

You dont have much in the way of ram so I would suggest that you invest in some more. 2gb should be the minimum that you have I think especially if you want to run quite a few leagues.

Download and install the latest direct x and java. You should also check to see if there is a update for your graphics card drivers available from the manufacturer. To be honest though I dont really think that this card is good enough for fm so I dont think you'll be able to get the 3D so you should look to get either a better card or a new computer.

From the FAQ:

I have an SiS Graphics Card and it won't work:

We had large issues with these cards for FM2009, however since then there has been a solution.

If you update the drivers to VGA5.18 -

http://majorgeeks.com/SiS_UniVGA5_Graphics_d5611.html (which was released in July this year),

turn the detail in game down to ‘Low’ and we suggest slowing the match speed down to one notch under half-way.
