Harryseaess
If you're a big club (Man Utd, Chelsea etc.) do you play your youngsters/reserves in the League Cup? I am Man Utd and I always play my youngsters/reserves in it, I have managed to get to the final against Chelsea and I am now considering putting out a pretty strong team in order to win it. Would you guys put out a strong team or stick with the youngster/reserves?
von_pedro
I personally would stick with the youngsters who have got you so far. I can understand the temptation to play a strong side to get hold of some silverware fairly early in the season but for me i think that the experience that young players can get from the league cup final is more valuable than the cup itself. Harryseaess
Just played the final, fielded a full team of youngsters/reserves (not one of my regular starting XI start) and I lost 2-1. Oh well, at least the got some experience.
