gonzález
In the PL now you have to register a squad of 25, with 8 homegrown players. I have an issue here - none of my U18 team are homegrown! Surely since it says they've been promoted from the youth team to the U18s that suggests they've been with me for a while already. Isn't the rule three years between 16-21? So in that case the 16 year olds should have one year left and the 17 year olds should already be homegrown. Now a few questions on the rule: - If I don't register my U21s (foreigners) in the squad, it says they can still play, but will I get to choose their numbers, or will they be assigned random numbers? -What happens if I get to deadline day and I don't have enough homegrown players? Can I register greyed out players?
Jirki88
You can simply leave slots open... An unassigned slot counts as a homegrown player.
dirtyscarab
Or go on holiday for one day when it ask you to register you players. When you go on holiday, the game sorts it out for you.
gonzález
Ah, thanks Jirki, I didn't know that. And dirtyscarab, yeah that was always my backup plan but I didn't want it to come to that! The computer always gives players stupid numbers and not what they had last year...
