DivineOne
I was just wondering, how does the set these description? Where does it look at when it says I'm a popular manager, legendary manager, under pressure manager (this one is obvious though ), .... Atm I'm described as a "Legendary manager", but tbh I have no clue why.
Elrithral
Outspoken manager - depends on how you deal with press conferences etc. Popular manager - your standing with pros and peers, does your squad enjoy playing for you. Legenndary manager - years of success in the game, well known etc. Sexy manager - me.
reddevilsrule
If you have won lots of the major trophies then your reputation for your fans will be legendary like cantona is to united fans coz they loved him for his attitude and what he done to united. i am guessing a bit though as i dont really know how the description for describing you works
Elrithral
Btw, it's all relative and depends on what is considered success. If you manage Man Utd and win 3 PL in 20 years, you'll hardly be a legend, if you do the same with Forest Green, you'll be a legend.
DivineOne
Well, the first 4 seasons I played with ManU, won 2 titles, 2 fa cups and a CL, quite good, but hardly legendary imho. I quit after the CL final and am managing Portsmouth now. Maybe the age has something to with it (I was 27 when I won the CL, I edited my age to my real age)? You forgot under pressure manager, I went from been a popular manager when i got promoted to the premiership with FC United, then as soon as I was in the premiership i became under pressure without even playing a game. DivineOne
That's because of a bug that's been half fixed.
x42bn6
I'm apparently a popular manager but around 16/20 managers in Serie A hate me and 3 are my former players.
phnompenhandy
That's because of a bug that's been half fixed. That's right. At the start of every season every manager is 'under pressure' for the first few games. Hopefully fixed for FM10.
sandhams
I have won CLs, Premier leagues, and a host of cups with Millwall. I am classed as a legendary manager, yet I am not even on the favourites of the club after eight years of success. Btw, they are even naming the ground after me. Is this a bug that will be fixed.
