Management Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 Is it a real bad thing to make a promise and then not go through with it? example: Player A wants a new challenge, and feels a new club may reignite his love for the game. Kenco Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 Not at all, it's like promising your girlfriend that you'll just stay for one more pint, then getting home at 2am on a Monday after drinking what seems like a hogshead of beer. It depends, by then the player may have changed his mind and want to stay, but generally they will still just say 'wants a new challenge'. For instance i promised a player more games and didnt give them to him so he remained unhappy, but, now im on his disliked list and he finds me untrustworthy.
