TheUsualSuspect9
The Alt+F9 shortcut makes a screenshot and dumps it in Documents. It save the screenshot in PNG or BMP format, is there anyway you can change this so it save in JPEG format as this is much better quality? m-platt
Can you not print screen and then copy into paint and save as JPEG?!?
TheUsualSuspect9
I could but takes effort. And i have to edit it on there because of my MSN conversations at the bottom. So is it possible to use the Alt+F9 shortcut but save in JPEG?

Think he knows where it is but does not want to do it this way, I have no idea if you can using ALT+F9, I only ever use print screen. You could always drag your taskbar to hide it, do the print screen and then drag it back up

m-platt
I do have Vista and I have just tried it and could not get it to work either. Used to work on XP but oh well, back to the drawing board for me I'm afraid:(
NLmichiej
There are enough downloadable screenshot programs on the internet, just do a google search for it... The only problem you'll find saving your screenshots in jpeg format will be that you ruin the quality. If you want to have small sized and good looking jpeg files Photoshop is the program to have. NLmichiej
Sorry lads, wasn't a dig at you. If you'd done a search on Google I could've assured you you'd find something you'd like... But oh well, I probably forgot people are too lazy to type a few words in a search engine and click a few links, they rather have others do that for them.
