Spleen! Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 Basically everything concerning a takeover is variable. It can take anything from a few days to months. Sometimes it can be a director taking over, so you're unlikely to get given any money, but you probably wouldn't lose your job. If it's a consortium takeover, then chances are you'll get given money, but sometimes these guys say they want to bring in their own manager. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

On the 'rich' person taking over it depends what type of takeover is happening. If a tycoon takes over then yes plenty of funds will be coming your way. It "broke down" several times. The board member said he wanted to get Rijkaard in, but I kept my job in the end. With regards to the money I was given £54M extra to spend. But like other have said Time/Money given is all random. Although you've got more chance of keeping your job if you are doing well in the league.
