tefal
a couple of questions for those more knowledgable than i. for players to be classed as home grown for european competition it says they must have trained with your club for 3 years between the ages of 17-21. my question is when is the cut off. i.e if a player you buy turns 19 on 1st september will that mean he will have the required 3 years to become 'home grown' as the cut of i think is 31st august. also does it matter that if you buy this player but loan him out for a couple of seasons, will he still be classed as having trained at your club. thanks in advance for your help
ssestig
I can tell you that the loan counts towards the time for trained at the club. Not sure about when the 'cut-off' is though.
devilgunner
you can loan out players and they will still count as homegrown at the club. i'm not sure i understand the other question, but i'm sure if you are buying the player and he's going to turn 19 soonafter, he will not be with your club long enough to qualify. phnompenhandy
I haven't got the game fired up right now, but from memory, on the player squad screen one of the options in the drop-down menu is 'home grown status'. It tells you how long or the date at which eligible players will become homegrown.
