nunogomes21 Posted February 23, 2009 Share Posted February 23, 2009 As Burnley 8 seasons in I made it to the Semi Final of the Carling Cup and faced Chelsea, I won the home leg 3-2 and after 90 minutes was 2-1 down at Stamford Bridge and it announced I was out, when in real life my beloved Burnley got screwed by a dodgy rule where in the second leg the away team gets an extra 30 minutes to score an away goal. So FM got it wrong and outed me saying I lost on away goals when extra time should have been played before counting away goals. I though this was very ironic as if FM had the rule correct Burnley would be facing Man United this weekend at Wembley and not Tottenham. Rant over but it still hurts!
