Steve Cobble Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Hey guys, I have searched so apologies f this has already been answered, but I want to use the digital download version of FM on my Macbook, but is there anyway to put my current code in instead of having to buy it again? Steve Cobble Posted February 17, 2009 Author Share Posted February 17, 2009 Because its only overheating when using the disc drive for some reason everything else working fine. *shrugs* Anyways, I've now sorted that little problem but its not accepting my activation code? Steve Cobble Posted February 17, 2009 Author Share Posted February 17, 2009 No not normally, but if u download this cellerate thing it asks u to purchase, if u cancel that it opens the game and thats when u can activate it but it keeps saying the key isnt long enough?!? TheOriginalJez Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 AFAIK, esellerate code has nothing to do with the PC authentication code - one is for eSellerate sales, and 'wrapped' by eSellerate, the other is drm done by uniloc, they're two completely seperate things so I'm afraid I don't *think* there's any chance of getting that to go without buying again. :/ Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
jod123 Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 I think you might need to contact someone from SI/Sega and ask is there anyway you could get the digital download without paying again by providing proof of your purchase of the game and explaining the reasons why you need it.
