trekman
These are the specs its is a dual core 6ghz 3 per core, 4gb of ram and 250 gb hard drive, Remember though that if you only have a 32 bit version of windows then you wont get access to the full 4gb of Ram. I have a simillar spec to you had can access about 3.5gb of my 4 installed and am able to run 25 leagues across 10 nations on a medium database. Just because he cant access all of the ram doesnt mean he should remove one stick.
pelicanstuff
Because in certain circumstances running 32 bit XP with 4 gig of ram plugged in can cause system instability. Not sure why, but I know a few people who have solved their XP problems that way. In any case, it isn't relevant as he has 64 bit vista.
