Nomis07
AFAIK it would be beneficial, as would teamwork etc, although the most important attributes are probably the hidden attributes. Personality is also a major influence.
Stevicus
Thats cool i just thought i should just stop getting my youngsters tutored by anyone who plays in the same position and get them tutored by someone who can be beneficial to their development
Nebu
My experience is that if they dont play the same position its not very likely to be succesfull, let us know how it goes though
Stevicus
also, i was wondering does mentoring help improve technical attributes? i know it improves the mental attributes but im not completely sure, i must say since 07 bringing through youngsters has never really been my special managing ability, i always end up just end up buying foreign wonderkids or wonderkids-to-be as suggested in this forum. its only now that i have decided i want to put my academy into use as they usually go to waste all the time
StanleyRovers
I usually get them tutored by the best senior player in the same position, as i imagine it would involve the senior player teaching them how to play the role. Although another big factor is the personality of both players, as if they're different then it generally doesnt seem to work
phnompenhandy
They need to be compatible in both position and personality. The attributes that are affected are Determination and the hidden personality attributes only.
