How to custom the game start date ?

I want to play the game from 2006-2007 season is there a way to edit the start date ?

I'm afraid not. You can move the start date forwards (with a custom database file) but not backwards.

someone told me he edited the start date but I cant remember who told me .

He said there are  no game schedule so he never played with that DB

I think if I can edit the schedule and add some legend players like ronaldo , zidane

then I can play the old seasons in FM2020

You definitely can't edit the game start date to 2006 using the editor that comes with the game.

You can add old players to the game however. There are people in the download section of this forum who've done just that.

Someone did that , maybe not with the game editor ...

Well if it wasn't done with the official editor then it can't be discussed here.

Perhaps you're thinking of an older version of FM? You can change the start date in the older Championship Manager games for sure.

The further you can edit the schedule is to the January 2019, and if you select also a nation that normally start in May/June/July, and select a club in the second nation, but the starting date in January, you won't play any official games up until the normal schedule begin, you can sign players (if the windows are open), and have to pay the salary of the players/staff even you don't have any income.
