04texag
I'm getting really frustrated this season with the numbers of goals conceeded from deflections and rebounds. We are staying strong in the back and blocking shots and not giving a lot of 1v1 chances, but then the ball is one time shot off reflections for ridiculous goals. What can I work on here to help turn the tide on this? Is there a defensive training session that can help. Is there a stat on defenders or goalies that helps with awareness for these? Thanks,
Experienced Defender
Can you post a screenshot of your tactic in the first place?
04texag
I'm wondering more if there is anything related to the goal keepers skills or defenders skills more than anything. Something like concentration or goal keepers control of area. Which then I could work on training.
Experienced Defender
Yes, concentration certainly can be a factor in such situations. But it is not necessarily about concentration (or any particular attribute). That's why it's important to see if the issue is related to the tactic or not (i.e. whether the tactic has some obvious flaw).
