phd_angel
I'm having a hard time attracting good players to my club. I'm coaching Reggina (that's Italy's Third Division), but I got a good Transfer budget, and am focusing on attracting expired-contract veteran players or those from the division immediately above. Nonetheless, only a few players are accepting my Trial invitations or Contract negotiations (they have tough agents...). Any tips on how to attract those retiring stars or transferred players to my modest club? Thank you.
oulzac
The longer they sit on the market with no interest from anyone else, the better you chance of signing them. This how I've always landed players that way above the clubs stature. If a 32 year old guy sits with no interest but my club until late into the window, chances are he will start to accept your offer, and have a much lower demand for his salary. And after the window closes, those chances go way, way up of signing them.
