Ignoring Financial Fair Play to get promoted?

I was wondering if anyone else had taken this approach to getting promoted, in my case I am Wolves in the Championship.

I decided that instead of playing by FFP I would go over budget (albiet only by 700k), on the premise that it would allow me to build a squad that was capable of getting promoted and be ready for the Premiership, in some capacity.

By this I mean I signed a few bigger names, gave them attractive long contracts to tie them down, and am under the assumption that my fine on promotion will be pretty small compared to the tv money ect. I will be getting?

Coming to the end of January atm so will probably be a week until I get to the end of the season, will try to remember to update this .

This sort of thing usually reflects real life, unless you go massively over budget financial penalties will be relatively small or zero. The biggest penalty is the transfer ban.

i thought the FM penalty was 5 points (for the premiership) but interesting to see if it works out
