SynapseR
Hi Guys, The games is stuck in zoomed mode and I can't navigate to change the resolution back. Any idea how to reset the display preferences when running from STEAM ?
michaeltmurrayuk
Try deleting the settings files that are located here (you might need to enable hidden folders): Windows XP: - Click "Start" then click "Run" - Type the following into the run box and press "Enter": %appdata% - Go into the "Sports Interactive" Folder. - Go to the "Football Manager 2014" Folder. - Delete the "Cache" and "Settings" Folders found inside here. Windows Vista and Windows 7: - Click "Start" - Within the "Search Programs and Files" box, paste the following then press "Enter": %localappdata%/sports interactive/football manager 2014 - Delete "Cache" and "Settings" Folders Windows 8 - Click "Desktop." - Launch a file explorer window (a folder for example or just press the windows key + the letter "E" at the same time) - In the address bar at the top copy and paste the following then press "Enter": %localappdata%/sports interactive/football manager 2014 - Delete the "Cache" and "Settings" Folders
hannahrr
Same here. It's playable, but my eyesight will history by the weekend.
hannahrr
I did the delete cache (I didn't have a setting folder to delete), changed it back to fullscreen, set it to 100%, then back to windowed, hit Confirm. Everything is good now apart from hitting confirm didn't give me Jessica Chastain covered in maple syrup. The game's fine, though. Merci buckets, Michael! hannahrr
I take that back. I restarted my system and it went back to fullscreen only. I'm not going to go deleting files every time I want to play. This needs to be addressed for the full release.
