nathan w
If i pre order the game, from a GAME store will i still be able to get the BETA version 2 weeks early, if so how would it work with the code and steam?
MakaveliPT
i don't see how, although as it says on the link below you should be able to play the beta if you pre order an hard copy from a game store as long as it's in the list below of their retailers http://www.footballmanager.com/preorder.php
TheGull8559
I pre-ordered from GAME, they give you a leaflet with the beta code on the back.
nathan w
GAME is on the list, but it baffles me as well how it would work, confusing for the regular customer, think it was a bit of mistake to go down this route.
TheGull8559
It is very simple, as i said they give you a leaflet, the beta code is on the back with instructions on how to activate it via steam. That said, you cannot activate the code until the 19th

TheGull8559
Yes, £5 and of course they reserve your copy of the game, but they give you the beta code straight away. i have mine right here on my desk waiting until beta opens.

TheGull8559
in store, the guy himself didnt even seem sure. Well, either your local GAME does things differently or him not knowing has cost you a beta code, as i said ordering the box version you should have been given a leaflet with the beta code on straight away. You are emailed a code when you pre-order from their website, did he even ask for your email address? if i were you i would go back in and ask the manager or order from a different shop if the beta is something you really want access to.
