Can I change the orange ball?

As I'm sure everyone has noticed, the game uses an orange ball when field conditions are hampered by snow or sleet or something. I'm color blind though, and the orange ball blends in with the field, making these games almost literally unwatchable. Is there any way I can still have the white ball (or even yellow?) on the field instead of the orange one?

You could try this:

In the folder ~:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\data\sigfx\meshes\ball

backup the three files: ball_orange.sia orange_ball_Shader.dds orange_ball_Shader.png

make copies of: ball.sia ball_shader.dds ball_shader.png and rename them to ball_orange.sia orange_ball_Shader.dds orange_ball_Shader.png
