The other thing you have to take into consideration is , that you're are sitting down there maybe playing 10-20 games in a session. If you continue with the same set up and change nothing, you will see you his result more frequently. In real life, if this was happening (say 2 or 3) games in a row, then the manager would change formation or adapt his tactics..,(unless you're man united).
