Some good news in trying to catch Bayern. But it's not so good in battle with Leipzig lol

I have set up 2 clubs in this game, Mawborough and Stopsley Utd. I will be playing as Mawborough, Stopsley Utd replace MK Dons and I have added them for a bit of fun. I recently started this > update/save < but have since decided against it as I would prefer to focus on a youth save with Mawborough. I am also really keen to return to my > FMC15 save < at some point in the future. Stopsley Utd have been set up with a rich benefactor and with £300m in the bank. They also have the players and staff that I put together in the post linked above. and the manager........................ So now I will just sit back and see how they do in this save, while I manage Mawborough as my fictional manager...

So we secured another promotion by winning the division with ease. That saw us promoted to.................. Letchworth is the closest to Luton all the others are 90 to 120 mins drive away, that kind of spoils things in a realistic way as those distances are too far on a regular basis at this level. I will now make the move to FM23 and set this club up on that, I will be using a database down to level 10, so we automatically make a jump up 2 levels but tbh I think we would be making that progress with ease anyway. I was a bit reluctant to make the move but then I found the same skin I have been using on FM21 for FM23 but it's better. This screen was/is really big deal for me I just like to keep a screenshot of every match with details and line-up, so SI have let me down in recent years. I had to take a couple and crop them together to get this........ That is ok and good for posts but it's just more work than it needs to be. Even a basic screenshot like this from FMT20 was good enough. My favourite was this custom skin........ FMC15 Match Overview Screenshot I'm sure it might not bother a lot of players but for me it is a big deal, it's nice to be able to look back at past matches and see some key info. Especially over a long save, taking screenshots of this is important if you want to look back at it, I am sure that after a few seasons you can no longer view the screen in game anyway, just checked on FM15 and my game is in 2088/89 and I can't view some matches from 2084/85

I might take this to FM23. 2 Reasons..... 1 - When I started this save I didn't intend buying FM23, Now that I have purchased FM23 it feels a bit silly to try and continue on FM21, especially as I am only a couple of seasons in. 2 - After 2 successive promotions we have been put into a division that isn't realistic, most of our matches will be against teams that are about 2hrs drive away, that is a bit much for the level we are at, especially with teams a lot closer that we should be playing. ------------- Now that 2nd reason isn't a big problem for a save on FM as it would still be interesting to play. I have a database down to Level 10 on FM23, So leaning towards starting this again on that at that level, mainly for reason 1

A squad of 38 players, 24 ex-Spurs players (well 2, Parrott & Scarlett are current but out on loan) 13 players (Forren, Chanot, De Marcos, Tozer, Bostock, Palsson, Petrucci, Tunnicliffe, Vejinovic, Worrall, Perotti, Loach & Chicharito) all played for Stopsley in the early years on FM10, also added Bynoe-Gittens just to bring a Dortmund player to the squad.

[1] - Season 2020/2021 The results so far........................ So apart from the Supercup game against Bayern our defence has been very solid, 7 clean sheets for Livakovic in 10 games. We are 2nd with Bayern leading by a point but we are the only unbeaten side. CHAMPIONS LEAGUE A good start in the CL with two 2-0 wins, Real Madrid back to back next. Der Klassiker with Bayern is next up in the Bundesliga.

Forgot to put this in.......................................... One player in and one player out! We sold Thorgan Hazard to Man Utd for £14m (£20m after clauses) and we signed from Dinamo Zagreb for £8m (£9.5m after clauses) to be our No1 keeper.

[1] - Season 2020/2021 The aim is to stop Bayern.............. The first game was in the cup.............. We eased through with 4 goals from Haaland. Our opening league game saw us face Borussia Monchengladbach at home, we won 5-1 with Haaland getting another 2 goals, Reus also scored twice and Sancho netted the other. We were then held 0-0 away to Augsburg, then we had another cup game, the Supercup against Bayern. We got off to a great start but our 2-0 lead didn't last long, I felt we deserved to edge it but it wasn't to be, it went to a shoot-out. Then the shock, Haaland of all the players, the only player to miss and it was a shocker, it was a terrible penalty. So stopping Bayern is off to the worst possible start lol Our Champions League group............................
