  1. Indecision over who to play. Work. Classic Wow. Alcoholism. ME complaints.
  2. I like starting in England's lowest league. From relegation battles, youth development saves, promotion races and ex-league teams, there are many different challenges to be had. I've made a spreadsheet similar to what I made for myself last year based on game and sortitoutsi data. Feel free to use it to help pick your next challenge. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Jo2UAo2KlB7mUtC6XhxWRFnTsv53oCL1Tgq1jnlgb6E/edit?usp=sharing
  3. As far as I’m aware this is not compatible with any other English based file. This is just a limitation of the editor itself. EPL fixtures are untouched.
  4. All English leagues playable down to tier 8 (Regional First Divs). Tested for 3 seasons with no issues. Leagues are properly sorted with promotion, relegation, playoffs etc. I've added a small amount in T7 and T8 for TV and prize money. I have not touched the FA Cup or FA Trophy so some clubs will not be included. This was made for my own persona use and I won't be updating / responding to issues. There are much more definitive league updates incoming so I suggest you wait for those if this update is not suitable. England to T8.fmf
  5. Hi Dan, hows the work coming? Looking forward to bringing those Champions League nights back to Winchester City!
  6. Same chip as @adonim but with better results. Might have something to do with memory or mobo? Computer Type: Desktop CPU: Intel Pentium G4560 CPU Frequency: 3.5 GHz RAM: 8GB DDR4 2666 MHz CL 16 OS: Win 10 64-bit Storage: SSD Test A Time: 4 min 12 sec Test B Time: 8 min 20 sec
  7. Pretty unexpected to be honest. League One ought to really test us though we have strengthened significantly.
  8. What a disaster. A complete and utter collapse. We started the season so well then almost seemed to tread water until the final handful of games where we conspired to throw it away right at the end. That sequence of losses left us in fourth place, barely in with a shout at promotion. In order to go up, we'd need to beat the ninth placed team in Division 1 (East Stirling) and then the winners of 2nd vs 3rd place in Division 2. You couldn't write the script. We looked a different team, energized and full of chances. Here's the final table and confirmation of our place in Divi
  9. The last 3 months have been ropey at best. A few new signings have came in but haven't really made the impact I hoped they would. Top, but only just. Just seven games to go and I'd say 65 points should do the job.
  10. Halfway point in the season. Had you offered me top spot by five points at this stage, at the start of the season, I'd have bit your hand off. Yet our recent form has been troubling. Conceding silly goals, getting beat from winning positions. Nott good enough. Luckily, the transfer window is just around the corner. I've already agreed two deals for two excellent players and I'm looking at one, maybe two more. We also have a Scottish Cup fourth round tie away to Premiership Dundee Utd to look forward to so there is plenty of Christmas cheer in Montrose!
  11. So after an assessment of the team, I was happy to find that we were reasonably strong across the board, with only a couple of additions needed. As such, I will be adopting a 4-3-3 formation with a defensive midfielder and two inside forwards. It's a formation that has served me well in FM16 and I'm hoping to take full advantage with the players I have available here. Unfortunately, Montrose were already 5 games into the season when I took over with a record of one win, one loss and three draws - hardly awe inspiring (though I suppose that's how I got the job!). I have managed to turn it
  12. I decided to seek out the the job based on the acceptance of the points I made above. Time is slightly of the essence in this save and I didn't think I'd be able to progress at the rate I'd hope under the cloud of minimal transfer activity and and exclusion style promotion system. Montrose is a great opportunity. It's an all round bigger club, with better players. However they are very much a League Two side, having grafted away here since the 90's and not had any kind of success since a few good cup runs in the 70's and 80's. I'll be assessing the troops shortly and working out a ta
