Kyle Brown, I and other people have reported this and I have sent 2 Alfreton saves showing this same problem. This bug appears to be very common and I am at a loss to fathom why it is not reproducable.by yourselves.

I have uploaded a few days ago 2 save files to SI Cloud Service re Alfreton saves which show exactly the same problem with players playing for both 1st and 2nd teams in the first pre-season friendly. DavidR

I have the same problem with Alfreton players shown as being picked for both the first team and 2nd XI team in the first pre-season friendly match . Save games Alfreton 003A and Alfreton 003B save fiiles copied to the SICloud service DavidR PS. It would appear that 7 first team playears auto picked to play in the 2nd XI team were then placed by the match engine into the first team substitutes spots ( removing "greyed out" players ). When the match preview page is shown these players then appear twice on the team sheets ( as 2nd Xi players and 1st Xi subs ) with the result that they can be playing on the pitch at the same time ( a doppleganger effect).

I have exactly the same problem with both players in my save with Alfreton. Says both unavailable with injury until 1/2/24 but no injuries are shown for the players.
