Is the Trequartista still classed as a playmaker role with the focus play hidden attribute? I have simmed many tactics many times and can't get my trequartista on the ball. He is consistently the player with the fewest touches. Both when played central/wide/AM Strata/Striker. I have used Joao Felix there who should be able to find space with 18 Off the Ball. I have used Salah there who has the speed to roam into space quickly. And I set Lamine Yamal to his max CA of 200 and he still wasn't involved with the team until it was time to score. Even when editing comes deep to get ball onto them, they still avoided any buildup or touches in general.

Just saw this and went to see if it was in game as it was in real life. Barnardo Silva for Manchester City has a release clause being reported by multiple sites. Fairly recent news. Any answer on if pos/role/duty familiarity is working as intended or even what it is/what it affects/how to increase it? -
I have simmed through the first season maybe 50 times both as Barcelona Manager and other teams manager. Sometime in the first few months Lamine Yamal's initial release clause is reduced to between $37 million and $84 million. Far off from his database and real life release clause in effect til 2026. Hugely gamebreaking as I can't find a way for his initial database contract to stick as it should and he is the biggest wonderkid and able to be bought so cheaply.

I simmed a season with the formation and players locked. Gavi started the season as "Accomplished" as a AMCL and ended as "Natural". Started 49 games all at AMCL. And still he has no Position/Role/Duty tactical familiarity. He seems to be the only one not full in that besides Gundogan (about 25%) who also started as accomplished but grew to natural. They were both being trained in their position but not their role if that matters. Shouldn't a player playing in a system all year understand their pos/role/duty at least a little? Thank you for all you do.

@fc.cadoni Thank you for the helpful info and the attached guides. I should be more clear in my question though. My issue isn't with understanding recruitment focuses, it is with scout allocation. How many scouts do I need to reserve for 1st team scouting? -
II would really appreciate advice on how to efficiently use recruitment focuses to find 1st team players. I am aware of attribute searching, but I would love if my scouts brought me loads of 1st team ready players that I can then make decisions from for realism sake. Ultimately the goal is to use just enough scouts on 1st team scouting where I have 3-5 options in each position, so that I can send a plethora of remaining scouts to search for wonderkids. I'm currently managing BVB and Barcelona so realistically I'm only needing to search the top 5 leagues for players with high enough CA to have an instant impact. How should I set up those scouts and how many do I need for 1st team?

Hello and thank you for all you do to make this game enjoyable. I am playing as BVB where we have a plethora of right footed set piece takers, but our lefties are not good at set pieces. I can not find a way to take inswinging corners from the left and outswinging corners from the right. This has resulted in my left footed centerback Schlotterbeck (Corners 3) taking half the corners just because he is the only left footed player on the pitch. This also occurs when the set piece responsibilities are given to staff. -
Hello, managing USA and in the screen shots I have included you can see that I have a view that includes both "Assistant Coach's opinion of this player's current ability" and "Average Rating over the last 5 games". These columns are left blank for many players in my national pool. When I click on them I can see the current ability stars in their national report as well as see the MLS players have been playing games. It seems only National Team games can be displayed for average rating over last 5 games.

Nicolo Zaniolo is playing for both teams in the Intra-squad friendly at the beginning of my Aston Villa save. I hadn't had him selected for the 1st 11 that I am managing. He was selected for the 2nd 11 team. I have no pkm files in my Matches folder. Unsure why.

Playing as Barcelona. Real World start with first transfer window being disabled. Barcelona are not allowed to sign Alejandro Balde's contract that is provisionally agreed in the database. I started a brand new save and just simulated to the date to show the issue.

Title. I am playing with Barcelona, playing against Cartagena on 22nd July 2023. Pre-season game. All opponent's players (excluding goalkeeper) are on Poor or Very Poor Physical Condition to start the game. This is not the case a week later against Marseille.

How can I swap an MLS team into another league? I am trying to swap SKC and Zaragoza, but I am getting the error "Error in Nation Rules Major League Soccer, Number of teams in competition (28) doesn't match expected number of teams from rankings (27)". When I load the database in FM SKC is in both MLS and Spanish Second tier, and Zaragoza seems to disappear. Thanks Swap SKC and Zaragoza.fmf -
