  1. One of the biggest jobs in World Football is open after Carlo retired and I have declared my interest
  2. UCL Final What a match. First we went behind to a goal from my ex CB, then they fought back to draw level after we almost took control of the game. Then Mosquera was given a straight red and a final twist, Raspadori, who was having a bad day till then, scored our winner. I switched into ultra defensive mentality after the goal and we hung on bravely to shut down PSG's world class attackers
  3. I might have to make a move for him soon
  4. May '29 A disappointing end to the title challenge as we were ripped apart by Inter right after poor draws against Milan and Torino. Juve tried their best to keep it interesting, but the title was decided with one round to go. Still it was a memorable campaign with a big final yet to come. Meanwhile in Germany, Bayreuth too had a bad second half of the campaign to surrender the European slot
  5. Apr '29 Decided to include the 1st fixture of may It was the month of Osimhen. He and Kvaradona kept us in the race for Serie A and have us on the verge of history in UCL. Osimhen was the undoubted satr in our incredible UCL run that included 2 wild knock out rounds against Hertha and Liverpool.
  6. Feb & Mar '29 In most seasons, this would have been championship form, but Juve is playing at a different level this season (and do not have European football distraction). We have pretty much guaranteed UCL qualification, but would need a major screw up from Juve to mount a title challenge. Next up in UCL is Leipzig. And I think the reason why Juve is where they are is because of one man
  7. Unfortunately this has become the norm. Only plus point seems to be that we have couple of decent prospects this year.
  8. Jan '29 Started the new year off pretty badly and then Raspadori stepped up to the plate. Genoa inflicted 3rd consecutive defeat on us (looks like my first bogey team for me in this save). Eased into round of 16 in UCL, where Bayern Munich & Chelsea were the biggest losers. Transfer Update Giacomo had a 23.5 million UCL team clause and Bayern triggered it. I too went in and triggered the clause, but included a loan back till end of season at 100% wages. He could be a reasonable rotation option who will be replacing Zielinski whose expiring contract I wouldn't be renewing. He has been a stalwart at the club, but my team has advised against offering a new contract to him as he is past his best and I agree with the assessment. Another outgoing agreed was for Di Lorenzo. He is another long serving player who is reaching the end of contract. He can still do a very good job at this level, but Inter was willing to agree for a paid transfer at end of season and his contract was ending at that point
  9. Nov & Dec '28 Our 18 match unbeaten run came to an end at Genoa, who are turning to be my bogey team. 2nd loss came up in Dec against Juve where we had a very poor start and went 0-3 down in 30 mins, when I hauled off our starting GK. He was benched for next game against Inter, where Osimhen came to our rescue, but was then injured and ruled out for couple of months. And another set of lies I reckon
  10. Hope this doesn't affect his long term development. The highly rated youngster was developing nicely till this.
  11. Meanwhile in Germany My successor is doing an unbelievable job. The team struggled badly at the end of my reign at this level and I am baffled at their performance this season. Kjaer had done a major surgery on the squad and had sold of most of the first teamers under me. And the title charge is being headlined by a 36 year old Volland
  12. Oct '28 Team is performing way above my expectation. The victory against Barca was probably the best performance I had from my team in this save.
  13. He never performed consistently for the brief time he played under me, but he has developed nicely. He would cost a pretty penny, nut I might make a move if Osimhen or Raspadori leaves
  14. Sep '28 Perfect form and my squad players are performing well when rotating, and that was the key as fixtures are coming in thick and fast. The win at Bayern was the most impressive, but it came at a cost as my DM anchor is out for a while. Jason van Duiven was asking to go out on a loan at the beginning of the month, but he is happy after 4 starts and 6 goals. He is staking a claim to dislodge Osimhen.
